weed eater that you push

 Weed Eater that you Push

Weed eaters that you push have become really popular in the last few
years. Previously, you had two choices. You could push around a lawn
mower that weighed a ton and may have needed gas for power; or you
could  tote around a heavy weed eater that was only really good for
spot trimming. With push weed eaters, you now have the option of a
light weight, battery powered weed eater that can be used in the same
way that you would use a push mower. Let's take a look at some of the
best models on the market today and why you should consider them.

Before we begin, we should discuss the differences between gas powered
weed eaters and electric or battery powered trimmers. While both will
get the job done regardless, if you need a powerful unit that can deal
with things like wild tree saplings and really tough vines, a gas
powered trimmer will offer you that power. This is especially true if
you are using a walk behind trimmer to clear a overgrown field.
However, the drawback is that you have to deal with filling it with
gas, storing the gas, and storing the trimmer in a shed.

Battery powered units are generally weaker in terms of cutting power
than other units. However, they are far more convenient in terms of
storage and usage as they are much lighter in weight due to the lack
of gas power. If you just have normal residential lawn uses, battery
powered units offer more than enough power to deal with the weeds and
plants you will encounter.

Husqvarna HU675HWT High Wheel Trimmer

You can always count on Husqvarna to make quality products, and this
weed eater is no exception. The HU675HWT boast Briggs & Stratton 163cc
engine for speed and power. The 12" rear wheels allow for plenty of
maneuverability.

Another great thing is the adjustable rim height,  allowing you to cut
grass and weed anywhere between 1.6 and 3 inches in height. It starts
easily and is easy to store too.
There are only two real downsides to this model. The first is that the
plastic carrier plate has a tendency to break easily. While
replacements can be found or fabricated, it will take some time effort
and money to do so. The second issue may not be to big of one for
some, but it is gas powered, meaning that you still have to deal with
that too.

Southland SWFT15022 Self Propelled String Trimmer

Sometime you need pure and raw power to clear brush and weeds. The
Southland SWFT5022 will deliver the power you need and just a little
bit extra. With it's 150 cc engine and 5.75 ft-lbs of torque, you can
decimate any field of overgrowth that stands in your way.

This trimmer starts very easy too. The reason is that it uses a manual
recoil system, which injects some fuel into the system on the first
crank. Aside from the battery operated units on the list, this may
very well be the easiest to start weed eater on the list.

The SWFT5022 uses 0.155 inch strings, which come out and loop in
easily. The cutting radius is 22 inches, meaning that a lot of ground
will be covered by this weed eater that you push.

Swisher 4.4HP Honda Self-Propelled Walk Behind String Trimmer

The Swisher is probably the most fun you'll ever have with a trimmer.
No joke. It may be the most maneuverable trimmer on this list. The
Honda engine starts so easy that you'll probably forget that you ever
hated starting trimmer engines.

The Swisher also cuts overgrowth like a beast. You can trim through so
much that you would be advised to wear a face shield when operating
this monster of a weed eater.
The only downsides are that a few parts don't seem as well made or
durable as you would think. A walk behind weed eater that is made to
power through dense and tough vegetation needs heavy duty, industrial
parts that can endure the stress. Sadly, you may have to have
replacement parts on hand if you plan on using this professionally.

Black & Decker 3 in 1 Lawn Mower, String Trimmer, and Edger.
The Black & Decker 3-in-1 offers a lot of utility while also being
budget friendly. It's also great for homeowners with special needs.
This trimmer is light as a feather, and can be rapidly switched
between a walk-behind string trimmer, a lawnmower, and a portable
weed-eater.

The Black & Decker 3 in 1 is easy to operate, and a cinch to change
the line when new line is needed. In fact, it's pretty durable as
well, with very few reports of parts breakage. Granted, this won't be
used to cut down wild tree saplings, but it can pretty much take care
of the majority of common weeds and grass found in a lawn.

The only real drawback is that it can be so much fun to use that the
batteries will get used up easily. The two battery's that are included
should be more than enough, but it's advisable that you have at least
three batteries available if you plan on using it as a primary lawn
mower.

What should you get?

The answer to that really depends on what you need. Everyone's going
to have a different situation. The three main situations we'll look at
are: Normal Homeowners, Large-scale Landowners, and Professionals.

The Black & Decker 3-in-1, along with most battery powered walk-behind
trimmers should be more than adequate for a typical homeowners needs.
Battery power means that you can save money and time dealing with gas,
while still having enough power to mow through commonly found lawn
vegetation. While it won't have the power to cut through dense and
woody overgrowth, for normal lawn care purposes, this should do the
trick.

For a landowner who has a large amount of land to clear on a regular
basis, a gas powered trimmer will be necessary. The Swisher would be
the best choice for this sort of purpose. The swisher offers the power
needed to clear out dense vegetation while also still being affordable
for the amount of usage it would see.

If you are a professional looking for a walk behind weed eater, then
the Southland Swft15022 is probably the best model for you. As a
professional, you'll need plenty of power to ensure that the job gets
done right. You'll also need plenty of maneuverability. Most of all,
you'll need a trimmer that is durable and can get through a job
without parts breakage. The best thing is the the Southland SWFT15022
is affordable as well.
